All the money I would have spent on mods has been going into my "next car" fund.
true or put it towards something that doesn't depreciate in value

A house..

IMO the cl has enough power to go up hills like to vegas

It has enough power to get me in trouble and enough power to AT LEAST keep up with most cars that I see on the freeway.. Plus gas is becoming a unaffordable commodity compared to a few years ago

pretty much sums it up for me also...gas is looking to get into the upper 3.60, 3.70's range for us premium buyers, maybe even 4 dollars soon...hell i might be going to look at some 4 cylinder cars...

Same here. Installing I/H/P really made a big difference and didn't break the bank (under $400, labor was done by myself though). These improvments actually increase gas mileage as well as hp. With gas prices here in Hawaii reaching $4.00 for reg unleaded, and well over $4.00 for Super unleaded, can't afford to do exotic mods like some of the lucky guys here on this forum.......
