Supercharger - What mods will gain HP b/c of FI
Alright, this is my first car that I have bought. Not exactly the best handling, or best anything car. I like it because it's rare, reliable, powerful, and looks hot.
Now, FWD car and FI... not a good mix exactly... but something makes me want to do it anyways. can't really explain it.
OKAY, the topic. From light research... hopefully what I read is true. don't flame me haha... some mods will have MORE increase in HP because of FI. I.E. non-fi cat back will only deliver 2-5hp... but fi will be more correct?
Question here is, which mods will have more hp increase in fi vs. non fi.
if this is a stupid thread, by all means delete it.

Every single mod you install will create "more" horsepower under forced induction vs. naturally aspirated.
Modifications don't "add" always just add 30hp or 10hp. They increase the efficiency of the motor by a certain percentage and that percentage typically doesn't change.
Think of it this way... if headers increase horsepower by 12% you go from 260hp stock to around 290hp with them installed.
If the motor is supercharged from 260hp to 300hp and headers are installed you will increase 12% to 336hp.
31hp vs 36hp.
Make sense?
The numbers are all just estimated guesses by the way.

In all honesty, the SC will make all the other mods seem like nothing. For example, you have H/I/E and your car feels good, but once you get the SC, the car will have a much more powerful feeling, unlike any of the other mods. So I hear what your saying, but trust me, once you get the SC, you'll just enjoy the HP instead of trying to count the #'s from smaller mods as your doing now. Also, going from the 3 lb pulley to the 6 lb pulley will be so easy and increase the HP even more so. 9 lbs would just be crazy and probably would require a better clutch and Alot better brakes. Get it, you'll love it, especially on the 6 speed.
