I told you the day after I installed the S/C kit I was two hours from home and mine shut right down on the highway, like it ran out of gas. It was a loose connection to the ems, but no problem since, without solder.
What you're describing could be a loose ems connection. Was it a costant condition after it did it the first time? If our ecu sees boost I'm pretty sure it'll shut things down a bit.

Let’s get that code first and then plan detective. Actually a lack of response from slight throttle input would indicate that one of the sensors isn't feeding correctly. A bad connection for the ESM could affect the MAP signal.
But what could also be the case here is a faulty TPS signal. This could certainly cause the symptoms you have experienced. But get the darn codes and then we will talk.

I need to think about this one. But what I would like to know is what the ECU would see as the maximum absolute pressure from the MAP sensor.

hey guys im back ok heres the deal jens installed the esm fine he just put the ground from the esm on another ground on the harness so i spoke to shad and i grounded the black wire from the esm to the green and white map ground.then i put the volts back to 2.91 where shad said it has to be and wallah car runs much better.before this i could not run 2.91 volts it would bog really bad.the green and white wire is the map sensor ground.where it was grounded was a different circut.so im rockin now thanx to shad.cant blame this on yens when the kit first came out there were no instructions so i cant blame this on my buddy jens.its amazing that a different ground could have such an effect on performance.oh and smitty he did not ground it ouside the harness!!!!! im going to school you newbie lol

Just IMO, changing the ground should not alter anything other than the set point for the ESM. Having a different ground might change the total potential and alter the set point required. But unless the correct ground floats significantly I cannot see how it would make a performance difference if the absolute pressure value was the same regardless of the voltage.

Anyone running the UR Sc crank pulley? I'm thinking with a lightweight crank pulley, an underdrive lightweight PS pulley, and the lightweigt Max boost pulley, I might see some decent gains.
