Supercharger question

I'm a newbie at all of this car stuff so don't come at my neck or anything. Is there a supercharger out there that would fit the non-type-s CL?

I see only two Acura CL S/C kits listed on CompTech's website, one for the CLS 6MT and the other for the CLS 5AT.

People have made it fit with some minor modifications.

I'm pretty sure that the Accord V6 kit works. Call Comptech to confirm.

are you sure about it? That the accord v6 supercharger would be compatible to the 3.2 CL

The block is essentially the same as are component locations.

The main reason why it would be closer is the aspect that the J32A1 does not have VSA, nor does the AV6. This makes the intake plumbing much closer to matching up.

You would probably need a different pulley combination though to get the boost back up.

If you went with the AV6 kit, it is meant for a 0.2 liter smaller engine. You need to turn the blower faster to get the boost up so going to the HBP imediately would be a good idea.

Also, doesn't the J32A1 have a lower CR?? If so, you can run a little bit more boost than the the J32A2 counterparts possibly narrowing the power deficit.

Anyone with a supercharger in their cl-p or cl-s have any sort of problems with the 5spd automatic tranny?
