supercharger question
supercharger question
If it ever does come out, will it work on the 3.5 engine? Wondering if the investment in the 3.5 would preclude throwing the supercharger on. Anybody have any clue?
it's still to early to tell but it looks like acura is sticking with the 3.2 engine so comptech would have no need to produce a SC for a 3.5 acura engine. However, they might later adjust the SC to fit/work with the 3.5 if demand requires it.
All in all they are still waiting for the a 5 or 6 spd manual tranny for the SC application to roll out.

Comptech is not waiting for the manual transmission, they have a supercharger on the car right now and are testing it. However they wont tell anyone anything about it for some odd reason. I dont know why, you would think they would say yea its going great be out soon, and I would give them a deposit. Oh well, it doesnt really matter now. Summer is ending and supercharger wont do well in the winter time so I guess were gonna have to wait till next spring.

They have already finished fitting the SC in the Accord and currently have the SC in the CL-S. Last I heard they were manufacturing some new brackets for the CL-S.

Is this just a guess or did someone at CompTech actually say that?
