Supercharger difference between Type S and non-Type S?

Can anyone confirm that a CL-P S/C would fit a Type S?

Thinking of taking the plunge with a S/C but not sure if it'll bolt on directly. Are there any known differences?

TIA

The Type S has a larger throttle body. I don't think that a CL-P has a super charger specifically made for it. Just for the S.

It should fit. The S/C was designed for the S only.

I've heard of some using the 00-02 accord s/c for a clp. The cls s/c needs some custom fab. This is exactly my problem damn it!!!!!!

No he doesn't. I'm almost positive he said he isn't gonna get one either now that he has a bike.
edit: found the thread https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...highlight=bike

And like has been said, there never was an application for the CL-P. It had to be modified from an Accord kit or a Type-S kit.

I've been told by an Authorized Comptech Dealer that only the model number that is different; for reasons of Comptech trying to prevent people reselling their parts to other Honda/Acura models.

Is this Dealer full of BS?

Damn I wish there was a definite answer.

There are differences between the -P and -S that prevent a universal kit.

The Premium has a 2.75 inch throttle body and no VSA throttle body where as the Type S has a 3 inch throttle body with a VSA throttle body, so the elbow has to be different between the two.

I'm sure there are other minor differences as well, that would require minor changes.
