I test drove a cl-s supercharged at the dealer. You definately cant feel the power the car kind of sputters and shakes a lil when you hit the gas... and when your idling and you go stand by the exhaust u here a put put put noise. Any ideas what might be going on? its an 03 6 speed with 24k miles on it. Also it feels like the cluthc is cathing almost right at the top. Is this normal for these cars or is the clutch going? Thanks for your help guys!!!

 

Sputtering and shaking is not normal. The exhaust sounds at idle are normal. And the clutch grabs very low in this car. So there are two strikes already...

 

can it be that the air fuel or boost needs to be adjusted or amybe a spark plug?

 

There are no real adjustments other than adjusting the base fuel pressure. However, that won't make changes to fix what you have reported.

ok he said he can take the supercharger out and make it stock again and warranty everything or should i just for get about this car altogether /.??

 

i would say forget it all together. chances are your gonna have problems even if they do take it off. but if they say they will warranty it and what not, then i dunno. make sure u get anything and everything in writing from the dealer.

 

Forget that, you can find another 03 six speed that hasn't had a S/C installed and uninstalled.

Better safe then sorry. The car sounds like some one else's problem. Be very cautious!!

 

walk away.... this car has been ragged on other wise it wouldnt s/c and be traded in with only 23k on it.
