Supercharge fuel pressure

I would like to know if the Comptech Supercharge fuel pressure regulator is adjustable. My fuel pressure is at 27psi at idle with vacuum hose connected and 59psi with it disconnected. I would like to raise the fuel pressure at idle because my check engine light is on. Code p0171 and P0170 system too lean. Acura recommend 40-46psi at idle with vacuum hose connected and 50-54 with it disconnected. I know this numbers are for a stock N/A CL.

My pressure (NA) is 56psi at idle with the vacuum connected and 62psi without the vacuum connected.

I tried that but the fuel pressure stayed the same. I turned the screw one complete turn both ways (clockwise and counter clockwise). The fuel pressure didn't move.

Then your FPR is probably broken and you should NOT boost until it is fixed!!

it may need a rebuild?

I know my fpr came with a couple different springs for higher/lower ratios

You probably should run the spring/diaphragm for the highest rate-of-gain.

Are you sure your adjusting it correctly?... You need to loosen the nut with a box wrench then turn the adjustment with an Allen wrench while you have the box wrench on the nut.....After you adjust it, you then need to shut the car off and turn it back on..restart the car after every adjustment then tighten the nut back down while holding the allen wrench in place.

Why do you have to restart the car after every adjustment? It's not like when there is boost you restart the car at every psi!!

The fuel-pressure is increased by restricting the return to the gas-tank - no reason to restart.

.... I did, I did not notice any difference with the car running... when I shut it off and started it back up I noticed the change in Fuel pressure... I only had to bump it alittle.

Probably the idle-level (or warm-up vs warmED-up) has the biggest effect on fuel pressure (other than the regulator itself).
