Sumitomo htr+ 235/45/17 on stock rims
I've seen a few topics with people who installed this tire on stock rims with everything working OK. I was just at Sears, and they said they wouldn't / couldn't ever install this tire. They said they would only go up 10 / down 5 in size from stock
But from what I have read here, the 235/45 matches the mileage the best.
What should I do? just get the 225/45? or go somewhere else?

one of the two sizes will or might give you alignment issue (when they try to allign). Stay clear of the big guys......find a local yocal family owned business as they don't bother with this legal bull shit ! FUCK TireRack.com !!!!

as I was reading this, my local tire place called me and told me those same tires are in (cause I ordered them last friday) with the same exact size, and they will put them in the stock rims, Strange

I just went back to pick up my car and talked to someone else who said they would install them. So I'll be getting them installed in a couple days
