Ok guys... haven't seen my topics about this recently and it is a pretty important issue.

I still don't have a solution for the colo issue, but I came up with some ideas that might make it a little less painful if insync.net pulls the plug on us.


1.) Make sure the DNS is hosted someplace that someone here will always have access to in order to change the www "A record" in the event we move to a new IP.

If you want, you can switch the DNS to two of my ISP's name servers and I will be able to access them as needed. I can also set a low TTL value which will make IP changes "propagate" quicker. (remote name servers won't cache the bad IP info for a day).

2. We should maybe start looking into hosting the site on another server at least temporarily. I have access to a fast ethernet connected server on the Verio backbone that I would probably be able to install the UBB software on and run there for free as a temp solution.

3. Ultimately we need to find a new place to colo at.
