sugar-inthe gastank!!!
of course this is one of the most famous and vengeful old-school methods from jealous ex-boyfriends or girlfriends... but how does it work?
does it even still work? i heard that fuel filters these days can filter stuff out pretty well...

They can't filter the sugar - it actually disolves; you don't know it's there until you dry out the water (or smell it). I don't know the specifics of it, but i do know that it gums shit up and would totally screw detonation.

If my chemistry is correct, sugar is not soluable in pure gasoline. Check with a chemistry professor to be sure. One of the shittiest tricks I ever saw was a box or two of Uncle Bens converted rice in the radiator!

bologna slices after they dry and you peel it off it takes the paint with it.. im not really sure why but i know it works...

Worst I have seen is the entire wiring harness cut-up and melted....
By the way... our cars DO NOT HAVE A dedicated fuel-filter... just the pick-up screen on the fuel-pump!

There *IS* a fuel filter in the engine compartment. The little screen inside the gas tank is just to block out big debris.

It's not really creative...it's science.
*clears throat*
the active ingredient in chlorinated bleach such as clorox is Sodium Hypochlorite (NaClO).
http://www.clorox.com/science/rmp/how.html
While not flammable by itself, when mixed with combustable material it acts as an oxidizer which can lower the flashpoint of the substance and cause spontaneous combustion.
In fact, the end result (in theory) would be quite similar to early liquid fuel rockets (liquid oxygen (oxidizer) + gasoline).
http://www.gsfc.nasa.gov/gsfc/servic...et/frocket.htm
While a small amount may or may not have an effect within a sealed gas tank, the intended result would be to turn the car into an instant liquid fuel bomb.

Guy at work told me when he was a kid he and his buddy pissed into someone's convertible one night, I guess they didn't like him, I don't know.
He now restores 1960s GTOs and paints hi-end cars. I'm sure he wouldn't like someone doing that to his show cars! Kharma?
I've had cats do that to me, I never leave my windows down anymore.

Just offering alternatives - not suggesting anyone ever do this.

Or you can always not mess with the car directly and tie some long thin wire from the bumper to the gutter...tah-dahh

Sugar In Gas Tank
You are lucky you live in the civilian world, and your ex-girl friend has limited access to explosives.
In Vietnam the VC used to take a hand grenade, put a rubber band around the handle (really called the spoon), and then pull the pin. The only thing keeping it from going off was the rubber band.
Then they would put it in down the gas tank or in the gerry cans of a jeep.
After about a week, the gas would eat through the rubber band, the handle would fly off and the grenade would explode - in the gas tank.
It is supposed to make quite a boom. A grenade by itself can make an impressive explosion (it contains about a quarter-pound of TNT or Composition B), but being in a gas tank, the explosion was magnified.
Most of the time, no one was in the jeep. But jeeps are parked together, and are parked near important buildings. So the damage (mental and physical) could be impressive.
Since I was an infantry pointman, I walked everywhere and never rode in jeeps, so I thought it was funny.

A few summers ago, some friends and i decided to get back at these neighbors who were complete pricks. We took some old chicken wire - about 5 feet on all sides - and laid it across their long gravel driveway. The next morning they were driving out and the wire snagged on the undercarriage of their car. Man were the sparks flying. >;]

shoving a large potatoe down a muffler is a good way to fubar a car, this one is pretty mean but jb weld is good for locking someone's fuel door, hood, trunk, etc.
