Coming back home tonight I find myself behind a 360 Modena!!!! I should have turned right to get to my place, but my racer-instinct made me line up against him. I have been sort of on a little 'ego-trip' with the whole turbo-thing and the nice ET's yesterday, so I was a tad overconfident.

Anyways... to cut it short. He took me by 3 cars!! Yes, I didn't have traction and I had my stock exhaust on and blah, blah, blah, but those things are darn fast!! He might have beaten me by more if he launched the car hard.

DISCLAIMER: There was no 'risky' lane-changing or anything... just a 1/4-mile or less spurt.

A humbling experience... I need to tone it down a bit!

 

I bet he was damn shocked though to see you keep up with him that much........kinda like if i were to race a geo metro, only to see me beat him by a couple of car leghts........my car would be for sale the next day. I'd say go but an auto trader, you might see a phatty deal on a modena.:wackit:

Although you didn't win, but at least you had the balls to run with him. Besides he didn't beat you by that much considering he had a ferrari that cost 4+ times more than our car.

Damn good job hanging with him though, very very inpressive. The race wasnt very detailed, but by far the best race on the board I would say. Get some slicks and go find his ass again, haha

I didn't realize you were in Woodland Hills. I used to work on Canoga in the Cheesecake Factory Building. Do you ever run your car up at LACR? I'd love to see your 12 sec CLS in person.

 

I haven't run at LACR as its just too high (altitude-wise)... but you can see the car. The turbo is going to be off within two weeks though!

 

yes, the altitude kind of sucks. But it is a pretty nice track. I'll probably be up there on Friday with a GTP buddy if you decide to try the altitude. Dare I ask why the turbo is coming off? I think I'll just search the forum.
