I'm installing a sub (2 JL 10 W3's) and an amp (JL 250/1)...

I've connected all the wires and hooked up the amp to the battery...unfortunately the amp will not come on...

I did not tap into the remote wire, b/c my amp has signal sensing...

I cannot figure out what's wrong ....

I didnt use the line out converter...I tapped into the 4 wires for the rear speakers at where the wire are coming out of the amp (next to where the jack is)...are the blue and red wires from the monster cable the positive's and the accompanying black wires negative?...

I'll try using the remote wire tomorrow, but am not sure if that is
the problem....

I'm a little unclear on how the power wire is hooked up the the battery...I screwed it on to the connectors that are already touching the positive battery post with the fuse about a foot away...

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

 

Did you ground the amp? After that, the remote wire should solve the problem. Good luck.
