Stupid Irresponsible Drivers

Check this out! 16 year old high schooler gets a new G35 Coupe and gets in an accident after 2 days of having it! And to top it off, the accident he gets into is a CL-S (I think)!

Um...that's why insurance is so much more expensive for a teenager - the statistics prove time and time again that they are sucky drivers.

That's also what happens when children are spoiled and get everything they want without having to work for it. That kid probably doesn't care that he wrecked his car, his mommy and daddy will just buy him another.

What's to say it was simply that, an accident? when your 16 you should not have a G35, you should have a buick with 3 dents and a roll bar.

I agree, my first car was a 1980 Cutlass. Who cares if you hit something, as long as people aren't injured? No matter how much money I have my kids will spend the first two years in something they can beat up, and still live.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. with 3+ pages in the thread nobody yet knows how/why the accident happened.

There all just going off at the kid getting a G35c.

Did anyone read this reply in that post:

>>>This kid I know has 3 cars to pick from for his daily drive.....an 02 360 Modena, a stage 4 armor 02 escalade (with twin turbo package for 500hp), or an stage 5 armor 02 mercedes S55 with brabus package........all with custom mobile theater systems......and a personal security team following in an 01 tahoe with a stage 5 armor and over 600hp.........it's kinda fun having security at our parties<<<

I thought Bill Gates lived in Washington state??

The best reply. Now THIS makes sense.

My little brother's best friend's father is the proprietor of all the Max and Ermas restaurants in Ohio. What does this rich-ass 17 year old drive? A saturn that he had to buy with his own money . He understands why, too, which is amazingly great. He'll grow up and learn the value of earning what you've got, even though, at any time, he could come home and take over daddy's company and be set for the rest of his life. The kid knows what's up too...he's not a complete dumbass like all other high school kids.

Props to parents/families who have the means but teach the lessons too

there is a kid in my n'hood who drives his mom's S500 to school....but he is getting his own car soon....which is cheaper....but not by much.....it's a brand new M3 SMG!! :o

BUT this topic is getting older than my grandpa. I am sick of people being spoiled, but I am getting MORE sick of the bitching here (i know i did just add to it above). Don't worry what other people have and what they don't. Also, don't bother yourself w/ how parent's choose to spoil or raise their kids. if they want to buy their kids a BMW....fine.

hmmm WTF people? I'm all about people buying their own cars but getting into an accident has nothing to do with appreciating what you have... an accident is an accident... it happens... most likely not on purpose... I'm sure he's not happy he wrecked his new car... People who have money will give their kids nice cars... who gives a f*ck? I had to pay for mine... so what? I'll work so that someday my kids won't have to pay for theirs... if you gotta work for your shit then great just don't bitch when someone gets theirs on a silver platter... boo f*ckin' HOO!

dang i must of went to a ghetto school cause most everyone from my school was kicking it in old cars. there was few kids with 2-3 year old cars but most of them were like me (in my 88 Accord Lxi). it's nothing worth bragging about but it got me to where I was going.
If I remember right my senior year the I remember the guys who got the best car award was: a built up(like 1990) s-10 with a 350 in it(that sucker flew),then another guy had a year or 2 old Prelude(the square headlight series) it was pretty nice.
then the girls: a girl had a new Civic.

then the class below me: this kid had a new dodge dakota(regular cab 2wd stick) he had probably(guessing) 4-5 grand in the system. (it was a tight system) daddy paid for everything.
he wrecked the TRUCK 2 TIMES. one time it was like within like 1000 bucks of totalling it but I don't think they trashed the truck cause occassionally i see a dakota rolling around and hear BOOM BOOM.

I have no idea who this kid is, or the circumstances of the wreck, but if it was caused by being stupid and goofing off, then he doesn't appreciate what was given to him. Some kids drive stupid cause they know there won't be any consequences if they get into a little fender-bender. Making them buy there own stuff or at least making them pay their insurance and for repairs, teaches them that they must pay for their mistakes. If you don't have to pay for your mistakes, what's the point in trying to avoid making them?
