stupid driver hits me while parked
so i'm parked in the costco parking lot and while working, one of my co-workers came inside and told me that i should come out and take a look at my car. i asked, "what's wrong?" he said, "someone hit you." my immediate reaction was ! went to the office to go grab a camera and went outside to take a look. all i see was a van parked on my @$$. it was a honda odyssey. i couldn't stay and wait for the owners to come back because they're probably shopping inside. so one of the cart guys stayed and manned my car waiting for the owners to come back (he's such a great guy ) so when the owners come back, he radioed me and i came back up. i asked the lady, "hi, did you happen to notice that you hit my car?" she replied, "no." she walked to the front of the van and said "oh my god, i am terribly sorry!" took down her info and she said, "i prefer not to go through the insurance agency." i said, "probably no, since it's so minor." what i'll probably do is get my car fixed through some body shop and have her pay the bill. if she refuses, then i'll hit up the insurance company.

You might want to get an estimate, and have her pay for that... That way you won't have to put out the money to get it fixed first
I've got a tiny dent in my rear bumper (probably happened like your's), and I got an estimate of $300 (they said they have to remove the bumber to repair the dent).

Even though you may not like their product you still gotta show some respect. And Ford has worked hard and their cars have come a long way from what they were in the past. I'm personally not a fan of Fords but I'm not gonna base my opinions entirely on what type of emblem is on a car. I personally love the GT and liked the new Mustang until there were so many I couldn't drive half a block without seeing one.

I'd just call the cops on the scene of the accident. Its very common for people to deny that they damaged your car later on. And then it is your word against hers and very nasty situation.... its not worth the trouble to me.
I had a very bad expirence with this stuff in my family... one old lady hit my mom's car in the parking lot, she begged her not to call cops, gave her all the info, and said she will pay everything for a repair. when we presented her the estimate, she was like "oh my god, this is too expensive($700), I can't afford to pay for this, I better talk to my lawyer." So we then immeadeatly filed a police report, and then she started dening that she was involved in the accident at all, and we started getting calls from her lawyer... In the end her insurance paid for everything, but it cost us a lot of time and frustration (thanks to body shop, they gave a statment that she was in the body shop with us looking at the estimate and saying its too much for her to pay")

Alright children.........fight nicely! the worst is walking to your car while you are parallel parked, and watching someone also parallel parking, and back into your ""BRAND NEW"" EVO III front bumper! I went ballistic! lol

By looking at the pix, your bumper is partially over the parking space line. I would
think that this is partially your fault. Also you parked "front in." I heard
in some stated that is a parking violation or some shit. Not sure though.
