Stupid dent....

Just bought a used 2001 S, it's in great shape....but USED. Anyway, it has a shallow dent left of center on the trunk lid underneath the ACURA lettering (it's hard to even see the dent unless you drive up to it in another car with the headlights on). I know I could pound the dent out myself (hell, I could probably PUSH it back in myself) without a lot of effort.....except for the carpet-like trunk lining.

Anyone have experience with removing the lining? I am a total newbie when it comes to do-it-yourself type care...... I notice all of these black tabs....I removed one and they seem fairly fragile!! Thoughts? Advice?

I agree w/ Nicky...the paintless dent removal shops are pretty good and prices are very very reasonable. If you have other small door dings, they may even throw it in or give you a "packaged" deal.

Its true. it is hard to be patient enough to work the dent out. Most of us guys just want to punch it back out with our fist but unfortunatly it just isn't that simple.
