Strut Bars walk with their elbows out and a little more upright.

Sway Bars swing their hips more than Struts.

I crack myself up!

The sway bars...aka anti-roll bars...help to counteract the "sway" in a turn...effectively giving you less lean, much like lowering your car. The strut towers tighten up the movement of the struts which tend to move when you go into a corner or turn...ie...they flex

So when some one makes the struts should I get that too or will it be overkill since I have sways?

There is no such thing as overkill on suspension...actually, the bars are the best tool to beef up your handling without adverse affect on your ride....with the exception of the polyurethane bushings from the sway bars, your ride would be unaffected.

ummm pop open your hood. You should already have a upper strut bar there. When somebody makes a rear strut bar yes you should get that. I don't think we have lower strut bars though I've never looked. But as someone else stated strut bars are used to stop frame flex. And they also can help with understeer I believe. When I upgraded from 13"rims to 17"s on my civic hb I needed an upper strut bar to help with the handling. I did notice a difference, it didn't seem to push through the sharp turns as bad afterwards.

Achance is correct. We already have a front strut bar for our CL-S. You don't need another one.

we also had springs/headers/sways on our cars too. Im just asking if an aftermarket will help performance over oem.

to answer your question if somebody makes the lower front and rear upper and lower strut bars than yes they would be benifical. But I don't think anybody ever will.

The strut bar we have looks pretty thin. If someone makes a larger diameter and heaver one it would help. Just like the larger sways that are available.
