Well, there is somewhat bad and good news in this. Last weekend my grandfather passed away of whom I was quite close to. I was very sad to see him go and we had a wonderful funeral for him. Now what I did not know, was that before he died he bought a black 2001 3.2 liter Acura CL Type-S. Now what does this exactly mean? Well it turns out that, yes get ready for it, he left me the Acura!! Strange isn't it? So the bad: my wonderful grandpa passed on; the good: I inherited an Acure CL. So why I am posting this? Well probably in part to brag :P
But mainly to ask the more knowledgable people out there what I should do to it. Its basically your average Acure CL type-s, so what would get me the most bang for my buck? An cold air intake? maybe some NOS? I am looking for speed mainly, and other cool features. I've got some spare cash that I did not have anything to do with, but now I could definitely put it all into this great car that I now have.
I'll post some pics of the car as soon as I can. It drives incredibly. I am so sad that my grandfather died, yet so happy I got the car, IS THIS BAD????

check out autocarparts.com .. tim aka Snook is a memeber of the board and runs that site... many people have ordered from there and dont seem to have anything but complements. Headers is whats going to give you the most speed you can get naturally. NOS is going to be fast but it can be bad for the car ( i think ). Good luck and enjoy the car, sorry about your grandpa. But life goes on. Enjoy and dont double guess yourself. have fun.

i'm sure your grandpa is in a place driving something much better and faster than the cl type s. you shouldn't feel bad that your grandpa wanted you to have his dope ride after he's gone. cherish it.

ok i read it, wow your grandfather must have REALLY liked you...the car is great to always remember him by...so lets try to take care of it..meaning keep NOS away from it!

and as long as you would give your CL-S back in trade for you grandfather back..then your normal.
