strange electrical problem?

my car was hit in the front few weeks ago - light broken, fender smashed, etc. Just got it back from the body shop - heres the thing. The dash light doesnt come on when the lights are on, the visor/mirror lights dont come on, the nav doesn't dim, its as if the car doesnt realise the lights are on. Also, when the keys are out of the ignition, the door locks dont work, you have to manually push the lock down, which also means the remote doesnt work, i need to use the key to get in the car. I thought maybe a fuse, but it doesn't look like all of these things would be on the same fuse. Any idea before i bring it back to the body shop?? I dont have time to do that for another week or 2. Thanks!!

check the fuses, all the fuses. Maybe a big one blew out, one of the ones under the hood. But i wouldnt hesitate to bring it back to the shop though.

this very thing happened to me a month ago and I made a thread on it. Its something wrong in your steering column. Read my thread:

Post 2 reveals exactly what your problem is.
