Stock Wheel Weight?

I tried doing a search, but all that kept popping up was the weight of 1st Gen wheels. Does anyone know the stock wheel weight of the Type-S rims (2001)? I'm looking into getting a cheap set of 18's that weight about 25lbs., and I just wanted to make sure they'd be at least lighter than stock. Thanks for any and all help!

Yup, the cool looking Type-S '01-'02 wheels are about 26lbs. while they managed to lighten the 6-spoke '03 wheels a bit... they weigh in at ~24lbs. I am hoping to feel reasonable gains with the 17lb. 18"ers I have in mind...

I thought the same thing when I switched to 14 lb SSR comps. If you go with high performance wider rubber the weight reduction is offset by the increase in rolling resistance. Don't expect a very noticeable gain from the lighter wheels. I'm sure it's there it's just really hard to feel. The light wheels to ride better though even with aggressive tires.
