Stock automatic CLs vs modified SRT4

Raced him from 75 mph and up to low 100s, we were even for a good few seconds, but he slowly starts to pull me. Bottom line I think it would have been a different story if I had I/H/and E. Talked to him later, turns out, he was actually a friend of mine that owns a local import speed shop he said he had a fully tuned exhaust, and a bigger turbo downpipe. He may have pulled me a car length by 115-120. I don't even have a K&N panel filter. Hehe. My comptech Icebox should be here by Friday.

nice, my brother thought that those things could smoke our cars, stock for stock, there pretty much the same, i raced one and or course he jumped me from the line, but on a rolling start i kept up with him, like you said, he barely pulled on me. i know the guy i raced too, when i get my unichip and my ur crank pulleys on, ill race him again, ther sitting on my bed now, i just gotta put them on

What would be my next best mod after the Icebox? A Chip? Pulleys? Thanks for any info.

Guaranteed when the older dudes come in.. headers.

CL with headers is just a whole different machine all together.

But I'm still too chicken shit to get allow my wallet to take that kind of hit.

BUT: Just so you know, coilovers have been my absolute most rewarding mod.

My car has two warranties on it a 12 month bumper to bumper, and the 100,000 or seven year warranty. I just bought it like two weeks ago, it has 63,000 miles on it. I haven't even taken the MUD FLAPS off of it yet. LOL!! I don't know if I want to put headers on yet, but I DO want them. I've been told that a cat back exhaust may not improve performance on the stock engine as much for the money, since it already has a higher flowing exhaust then the CL-P. Is there simple mods I could do for now, Like what about this GROUND KIT i'm hearing about or pullies? THanks you guys are great!

i'd say the two cheapest ,best bang for the bucks would be a K&N drop in and remove the lower resonator from the air box and pulley total 150$ and 20 hp
