sterring wheel problem
sterring wheel problem
I got a little problem with my sterring. When i hit 70-80 mph my wheel starts shacking. I took it to acura and they said its not the balancing of the tires. I have around 25,000 miles and was wondering if it could be the brakes?
Thanks
Thanks
What did they do to determine that it was not the tires? Tires are most likely. Your rotors would have to be really warped (visibly) to get that kind of shake. You talking about steady speed? No brakes? Right?
It can only be the brakes if it happens when you hit the braks, otherwise it most likely isnt the brakes. It seems to me that your wheels are unbalanced. have them rebalanced at another store, and check tire pressure too.

Hunter makes a system called the GSP9700 that I swear by!(when used by a tech who knows what they're doing)
It really smoothed out issues on my last 2 cars.
Here check it out. It costs me $20 a corner. I hear it's a little less in some areas.
