...can i change all the speakers add subs, and an amp and still use the factory bose head?

You'll probably need an adapter interface between the head unit and your new amp, though.

You can but it will never be as good as it would with a after market receiver because of the fact that you will have to use line level converters. To be honest with you I added a sub and that was enough for right now. I figure a couple years down the road I will rip it all out but for now I would like to get some use out of it knowing that It probably added at least 500 to the sticker price if not a lot more.

A good SUB(s) with a capable AMP makes a world of difference in our cars.
I’m sure I will upgrade my system more in the future, but for now I am quite happy with the added BASS.
