Rotors are warped.

Warped rotors, very common on CL. Acura service bulletin on this, supposedly newly designed pads that won't warp the rotors are also put on.

as stated, VERY common problem on CL. Brakes were not up to the quality needed on the type S especially. many have had it reoccur sooner than later, and some dealers stop fixing it for free. wear and tear item?
all pads and rotors were replaced on my first 6 speed at about 12k miles.
one thing is try to keep water off the wheels and brakes when the car is hot, esp when washing it, wait for cool down.

I'm at 53k miles and this is just starting to happen to me too (ever so slightly)... but I think it's b/c I'm due for new brakes.

Definitely should not be happening at 13.5k miles.... so you're probably a victim of warped rotors like the above folks mentioned.... bring it to PAA (Park Ave Acura) and they'll take care of you.

I've heard it is not the rotors, it's the pads causing uneven wear on the rotors. The service bulletin is on the upgraded pads, I believe.

Happened to me 3 times. On the 3rd time they replaced the rotors and pads. I'm 20k into the new rotors and pads with no issues. Before I'd warp the rotors about every 10k
