Has any one changed their obds?
I had my car in a little while ago for a SRS light. Dealer told me it was the obds, so they changed it. A couple of days later the light came back on. This time they changed my seatbelt. Now the light has not come back, but I am afraid that they changed a part they did not need to. Has any one changed their own OBDS, and can I re-install my old one check to see if the light comes on?
thanks for your help!

You can't install your old one cause you need a Honda PGM tester kit to re-initialize it when you change them....and yes...they are very common. I've replaced hundreds of OPDS Units and Sensors...If it comes back on...demand a new sensor and unit. That should fix it. Also...don't leave things on ur passenger seat like bag or cd-binder...will cause the OPDS to bug out. Also...other electronical interferences will cause it to bug out also....like a cell phone placed on the seat. Don't worry about it...like I said normal and under warranty!!
yep...being that the service bulletin is for just about every Acura. RL/TL/CL/MDX/RSX...all of them have these problems. I mean...it's rare for each model, but over the years I've done plenty. no biggie though...only takes like 10 minutes.
