Yea get a Pully Kit to change the power steering and the alternator. You'll get a 4-6 hp increase and a firmer wheel.
I've got a 2001 CLS and to me its too nimble on the HW at 60 and +.
But remember that the alternation will run slower at idle so if u got a sub system, run ur a/c and have ur lights on at night you might run into power problems.

Yep, same here, lighter steering. I kinda liked sturdier feel of the stock. Maybe with sways, it will tighten up a bit.

My car's steering feel also appears a bit lighter after the installation of Comptech springs and Koni shocks as well. I actually like the lighter feel. But it defintely isn't numb or vague at any speeds, IMO.

i got my sways last week, and springs yesterday. but it was the springs that made the steering lighter.

does the pullies really make it stiffer again? the only thing i have in the car is a custom built 12" sub with a 150 watt amp, so i shouldnt have power problems. thanks

Nup it won't. I like it though. Question is why? Perhaps changing the suspension geometry by adding the springs has changed the cars center of gravity to cause this? I just wonder where the tradeoff will be. Front shocks going faster than rears? Especially since the cars weight is 2/3 in the front.

I'm sure you can tune the amount power steering fluid to make your steering feel a little tighter.

Mental note, need to get a helms manual for my car.
