steering column

I know this has been brought up before but does anyone know if it is possible to transplant a telescoping steering column from an RL to a CL for those of us who have short arms and long legs?

I am 6'4" and that would be great, but I think the dollars would be too high!

I'd have to look at that one and see if it's possible.I doubt I could get the memory feature to work since it is part of an RL's electronics package.Next chance I get I'll peek at this.Jens

Would it be possible to put some sort of extension on the steering column so I can reach the wheel with the seat all the way back?

You can try one of those rotating balls on the steering wheel(for handicapped people). They work great!

I sit with the back of the seat straight up. I have long legs but short arms. If I put the seat all the way back I can reach the steering wheel but it is not comfortable.
