I made the dealership throw in a spoiler when I bought it because I dont like the look without it. It looks too droopy assed and plain w/o a spoiler.

Good Buy

The add says "OEM Type" on spoilerdepot.com.. I guess this is ok..it ain't like
you're installing an off brand supercharger and hoping to God it won't mess up..

I got my spoiler from a local place that does all the factory installs for local
dealers (Benz, Lexus etc..) a huge operation but...got mine painted, installed
by these guys for $350.. I didn't want to mess with drilling etc.. they drilled,
applied sealer to drilled holes, hooked up the light etc.. took approx 45 min
from openning the box to driving away..I am a Quality Engineer by trade and
these guys did an excellent job...i was happy spending the $350 to have things
done right the first time.... If interesed...the place is called Air Stream

If someone (who has satin silver) in the tri-state area wants to trade my trunk w/factory spolier for their non-spoiler factory trunk plus $100.......we can do that!

got mine from spoilerdepot thru ebay---149 plus shipping. self installation (although drillling holes in the trunk is a little nerve wracking) well worth the investment and beat the hell out of the $800 my dealer wanted.

No groupbuys unless the vendor pays to advertise on A-CL/A-TL/A-TSX network

To each his own. Personally, I think the OEM spoiler sucks.

I agree, I hate the spoiler on the car, after I got my rims, it just looked too funny for me....I guess thats why I took it off.....

I got one for sale if anybody wants it...OEM Black spoiler off an '03 for $150...is that a good price? I'm not sure but it seems fair...Located in Irvine, CA....Local only please, no shipping......310-748-2940

or...I'll trade for an M5 spoiler straight up if its black.

Sorry for jacking thread by the way...

Mike

Spoiler installation

A fellow CL member sent me this when I was concerned about installing my own spoiler. Read it and found it to be VERY helpful in reducing the fear of doing it myself. I have it saved in my favorite file for future reference, for when I do get my spoiler.

Johnny 2X Definetly interested in you offer! contact me and lets talk
