Stage 2 clutch? 2003 CLS 6mt
XLR8 has a 'Daily', 'Strip', or 'Drag' clutch set-up. I believe the 'Daily' is considered stage 2; however, I'm not sure. If you don't want the LW flywheel, they sell only the clutch and pressure plate to keep costs reasonable.

This. Even with most forced induction the stock clutch is generally fine. Going with a Stage 2 is going to make your car more of a pain to drive and it won't be nearly as smooth. Unless you have a real genuine need, don't do it.
Why not wait until that point then? Let's be honest, maybe 1 in 10,000 kids that say or plan on supercharging actually do. You might think you will now, but you most likely won't.
Even if you do (and good luck finding one these days as no one sells new kits) it's still highly unlikely you'll be making enough power to require a State 2 clutch. The vast majority of those that have gone supercharged with the CL have stuck with the stock clutch without issue. Even if you plan on adding bolt-ons to it you're still unlikely to make enough power to require a Stage 2.
It just seems silly to spend $1,400 right now on something you will most likely never need.

Just kidding, but he's right in that you won't need a Stage 2 even if you get a supercharger.

You guys have some valid input here. I think im just going to stick to the Exedy OEM clutch kit since it seems that these cars were built to hold up well to a lot of power completely stock. It's just that in all honestly the car takes a beating so I was looking for something that would hold up better for the long run. Thanks everyone

There's no one else who makes the stupid self adjusting clutch for our cars. If that picture is what you get, then they are just re-branding the OEM LUK kit and marking it up. Shame on them.
