Oh, man...you're bringing me down!!! I like the way it looks now...the shadows in the pics make the gap look much bigger...hides the tires. I'm not big on lowering, especially in MA where Pot holes EAT cars whole!!!!

OK, I'm going to be honest now...I don't like the way they look when they're lowered...it's an Acura, not a 66 Malibu...just my opinion...but whatever floats your boat.

I was a bit unsure at first after seeing them at http://www.tirerack.com (which is where I bought them) but a few guys on the site had rave reviews so I went with my gut. I have to tell you, they are PERFECT for the car...the pics really don't do them justice. I am very, VERY happy!!!!

Does anyone know if Brembos fit under these? I am lookin for rims and I am completely undecided, all the ones I like don't go with a white car but I think these would,

I like em, but i agree with most others, lower it !! Comptechs would be perfect, just enough drop and the ride is still very good. Think about it.

I'm not sure of the weight, but, having lugged them all over the place when they arrived at my work, I can tell you that they seem lighter than the stocks.

The SSRs weigh 18-19lbs each in 18".

They do look nice. I had purchased the same rims in 17's because they were massively on sale but decided that they just didn't look good enough in that size and sent them back.

Once I need new tires I will consider 18's.

But, from looking at those rims in person I have two obsevations:

1. They really are beautiful rims. Awesome craftsmanship and they do look better in person.

2. Dear God, please be careful around curbs b/c they look like they will have the same problems as our stock rims sticking out and they look like they would be a bitch to buff out.

Enjoy!

bro, screw evrybody's dropping opinions, just do wht you feel is good, I put 10k miles on my car in 5 months and I drive in brooklyn, Bronx and queens where the highways are permanantly under construction. I might end up getting a drop, but only because I am ready for it, not because everybody and there mother tells me to.

Do you worry about your car in the city? I do now...especially with the new rims on. I have locks installed, but now I'm afraid they'll just steal the whole damn car!!! I WANT A GARAGE!!!!

Your car looks awesome! Don't listen to these guys. Lowering cars is ghetto. It's a classy car, not a civic.

Haha, that's why you have hydraulics, to preserve the classiness of our car.

Hey redline revs,
You car looks great! I'd like to get the same setup and need some clarification. Is the rim width 7.5" or 8"? Is the tire 225/40 or 225/45? Any rubbing with the comptech springs?

Thanks!
