I would go with the MDX, I don't like the Caddy. As for the rest of the bunch they are American too and I don't like them either.

Out of those choices, I would go with the Aviator. I drove a Premium model and it was really nice.

Don't like the MDX at all, the Volvo is cool (but hate those big stupid rear lights).

I'l have to see the SRX in person to decide if I like it or not, it looks a little weird in photos.

I love the Volvo XC90, the SRX looks like it can't decide whether it's a station wagon or an SUV.

I can definitely see the Aztec in it, except the backend of the srx isn't cutoff at a hideous angle like the Aztec. I'm sure they're using the Aztec / Vue platform.

I dunno. I guess I'd have to drive it and see, but I'm not a big fan of Cadillac's overall styling. The MDX is a good choice. I'd also test drive the Pacifica just to see if it's all the rage that Chrysler's been saying it will be (since it's got the Mercedes powertrain and what not).

The new Automobile has the SRX running 0-60 in 6.5 seconds... Sweet!

sry bout that guys i was a little tired what i meant was i can see how some of you dont like the styling im just now beginning to get use to it. As of some of the other cars my parents who r getting this want something small, right now we have a durango r/t and its around the right size. my dad will probably be trading in his seville soon along with the durango so he really likes caddys (he wanted to get me an eldo i liked the cl better) and wants the srx. The srx is closely related to the cts on the exterior (the nose) and oo an old post on this site it said most people that r gettin the cts are 45+ so maybe thats y my dad(41) likes the styling.........HEY it is better then the friggen rondevouz crap ass thing my mom wants lol

Infinti FX45 had excellent reviews in Car/Driver last month. Their web site has several pics also...very nice vehicle. That caddy looks like it's the size of the new Blazer...can't see spending the extra money for a posh Trailblazer, IMHO.

Good point, that should be in the mix. I still think the MDX at under 40K is unbeatable. Especially with the extra 20 H.P. and VSA in the 2003.
