Unhappy SRS problems :-( and DRL problems

k so for the last yr my drl has randomly not worked here and there. last week it did not work then one light worked then they all worked then they all didn't work... SOOO i think i need to replace me DRL unit

SECOND
my srs light came on.. probably cause a month ago my budy left a the window open when it rained!!! on passenger side and now the opds i think is done... or malfunctioning. right after it happened my side airbag light was stuck on for a hr of driving with the heat on full!.. then it went away. now a month later i have this.. and i do not believe in coincidence.

when passenger gets in the srs code gets store and the cherry stays on.

anyone know of a way to fix them ??? or a cheap place to get them??

i need both and i don't know the part number for either.. HELP would be much appreciated fellas... THANKS in advance

but mine is cause of abuse, not cause the component crapped out on its own... min was soaked in water... i think it's the opds sensor in the back pad which is 360$

as for the DRL module it's only 65 thank god... from my dlr they want 168!!!!!

So the SRS comes back on after you reset it and a passenger gets in the passenger seat?
I thought my ODPS was messed up too but one day I found out it was something else. I reset the SRS light and got in the seat and nothing happened. When I buckled in the passenger seat belt, boom, the SRS light pops on. Turns out that the belt buckle became faulty. It's happened to quite a few people on here. And now it's happening on the driver's side.
Just some self diagnosis before you bring it into the dealer.

got it scanned.. it's the passenger buckle!!!! only 60$

very common to go, my buddy/mechanic at acura said before scanning it i bet it's the buckle.. sure enough it is.. clear the code, buckle the seat belt and wamo it shoots on.

as for the DRL i know it's the module cause when the DRL light is ON i just hit under the steering column area and instantly goes off. so there must be a faulty relay.

that is 170$ (67$ online but cannot order to canada :-( ) but i am happy to pay after getting the good news on the seat belt buckle..

was expecting to drop 3-4 on the srs alone.. AMEN to that

Seat belt components are covered for life by Acura factory warranty, so you should not have needed to buy a seat belt buckle yourself. OTOH, I myself dread taking my baby to the stealer, so maybe it was worth it....?

I believe that is only in the United States iirc, does not include canada. I recently had my drivers replaced Should be somewhere in the owners manual

it was worth it. i only let my one buddy touch my car at my dlr.. if i leave it their i request that only he work on it. sometimes i gotta work around his schedule but it's a small price to pay to know without a doubt your car is in safe hands..

seat belt was like 65$ at the stealership..
