SRS light won't go off...
I got a DVD player mounted under my passenger seat, and now my SRS light will not go off. I heard this is caused by electrical interference...but my question is how do I make it turn off? Will it adjust eventually, or is there anything I can do?
SRS is what exactly anyway, just the side airbag?

or did they remove the yellow SRS plug from the multiplex unit?
I remove dit by accident when installing the shock sensor, and there is a way to reset it with a "jumper" tool, but it's easiest just to stop by an acura dealership.

There was someone here on the forum who removed thier seat for a day at the track, same situation. He then took the car to Acura to have it reset, the dealer then charged them to reset the code.
I too have removed my seat for the track and ocasional races. After hearing that the dealer charged to reset the code. I then looked through my HELMS and found how to reset it. HELMS states to use a jumper tool "do not use a paper clip", so I had a better idea, I went and used a paper clip. In the end I reset the code and the dealer never knew. It took me 5 tries but I did do it. It requires a plug to be removed from the inside the fuse box, then connect a paper clip to it, turn the key to on (II), then turn it off remove the paper clip, yada yada, I don't know the exact formula for it but it is much harder than reseting the service light. PM me and I'll look in my HELMS and tell u how to do it. I'll be gone till Monday evening.
