I just had a alarm installed onto my Remote Start System that was already existing, and now the SRS Light is on. I was told from the technician that this is caused from unplugging some of the wire harnesses. Now how do I get the light turned off, and is my SRS System still active or no? Thanks for the help guys.

Take it to the dealer to have it checked. I blew a fuse (instrument panel) and after replacing it my SRS light was on. The dealer checked and said there was a seatbelt buckle error code and they replace both buckles. It could be a problem with an air bag, or it may just be from the unplugging, either way the dealer will have to reset it, and should check for codes before doing so.
