Okay, other little nuances which I've noticed lately....

On the '03 CL-S 6MT, anybody hear squeaking on the clutch pedal at the start of engaging or near the release of it? Mine squeaks as I push on it at the beginning and at the end as I let off of it. I'll probably have the dealer check it out when I take it in to have the water pump and timing belt replaced per the service bulletin. Will also let them tighten the driver's side vent (it seems loose and always points up after shutting the door).

 

Well I drive the 5AT and I was just about to open a thread asking something similar. Everytime when im driving my car (as far as I can tell it doesn't make this sound when the car is off) and I press either the accelerator pedal or the brake I get this same Squeek. It only happens in the down direction, but it happens almost everytime. Its kind of like a stressed spring sound... sorta like opening a sceen door that uses the spring tensioner but not quite that loud.

Anyone know what it could be?

 

I believe its the manufacture defect. I got a 03' CL-S and it seems like I got this squeaky noise (very slient though) coming from my passenger rear everytime I hit a bump

 

No squeaky clutch here.

 

I'll bring some WD40 to the meet...we'll just keep spraying under your dash until the squeek goes away.

I have the same problem.. 2002 Acura RSX..
It started a few weeks ago.. squeaks when I engage the clutch, and in the mid release of it..

Anyone find out exactly what it was?
There is only 45000kms on the car..
