About three days ago my front brakes started to squeak.
Not all the time, it’s just like the last 10-15 feet when I am coming to a stop.
It happens both when they are HOT or even when I pull out of the garage first thing in the morning.

I’ve never had any problem with “pulsing” or “fading” which I believe is a sign of bad rotors.
My 11/2001 inspection paperwork from the dealer shows 7/32 of front pad left and I’ve only gone about 1,500-miles since then.

All I want is the thing to hold together for a few more weeks until my 6-Speed gets here, but I can’t have it doing this when they take it for the evaluation check on the trade-in.

I made an appointment for next week at the dealer.
What should I tell them about the so-called “service recall” people are talking about here.
Mine is one of the early models purchased in June of 2000.

It's normal for brakes to squeak and squeal....when comign to a stop...you have worn down the pads a bit...you're probably just starting to hit the pad warning.
