I've got the comptechs, just waiting for install. I like the drop, not too radical with a rake toward the front. You don't have to do new struts immediately but probably should if you can afford it. It will save on the labor.

I paid a bit over $400 for a local dealer to get both the Comptech springs and the Koni shocks installed that the same time. I would image you can get the springs only done for $200-300.

i'm thinkin' eibach pro-kit or h&r sport. which do you guys prefer?
also, how extreme is the sportline drop? anyone got pics?
the comptechs look nice but a little expensive for my tastes. i'm leaning towards the eibach because i'd like to drop the front a little more than the rear (just my preference).

BTW I have the Ground Control coilovers...but if I had to go with a Lowering Spring, I would definetly get the H&R Sport springs, I had H&R before, it rides and handles very good, plus the drop is perfect on these, and you cant justify AT ALL for the additional 100 dollars to get Eibach Prokit...For Real...

are comptechs the only springs that drop the front more than the rear? i kinda like that look, but i'd rather not drop the extra $$$ on the comptechs if possible.

The prokit doesn not drop 1.8/1.5. It drops more like 1.8/2.2. The back sags much lower than the front, and this is very obvious. On my car, when I look at it from the side, it is slanted backwards. This sucks. I should have gotten HR sports. Then again, i am very picky, so it probably is not that bad. But ask anyone who has the prokit...the rear is definitely lower than the front. Unless you set it up differently with konis.
