spring?
never heard of a lease where you can't put em on...i have a leased CL-S and i'm having em put on. you'll have to check the shops around your area for install pricing. What brand of springs you looking to get?
well i have h&r on my max, i am looking at those comptech ones they look pretty popular. see i live in nyc-long island and the roads out here suk and my max rides pretty hard with 45 tires on them, i saw a cl on here with 18 wheels and the comptech springs and it looked reaaly tight, what kind are u getting?

hard to say...i've never tried em all and they're different per car. I'd have progress and RS*R's before. Eibach seems to be the preferred choice but I'd think they'd all feel nearly the same per the amount they lower. It's all subjective and your call since you'll be driving it <g>
I got eibach because i didn't want to support monopolistic prices.
Comptech charges an arm and a leg for stuff that's not made for our cars. But the only reason why I got their headers was because I got them for around 400 bucks.

the Eibach pro kit springs (they are the Accords BTW) wilol give you a little raked stance at about 1.5-1.75" up front and about 1-1.5 in the rear (depending on the amount of gas and other stuff inthe trunk).

1. If you lower the car too much, the shocks run the risk of smacking - forcibly compressing the shock too much. While the shocks are out, check this - if there is any way for the spring to compress far enough, you will have a problem.
2. The new springs will have a new spring constant or k factor - this is the rate of force generated per unit of length compression. This factor in usually expressed in N/m (Newtons per meters) or lbf/ft (pound[force] per foot). Changing this affects damping ratios for decent suspension performance.
You may find that the car will feel springy, as the shocks will be undersized for the spring. As the spring is shorter, lowering the car, the spring constant must increase to keep the car from bottoming. If you care, the equation is as follows:
f = mx" + bx' + kx
f = force generated
m = mass of the [wheel]
x" = acceleration of the [wheel] upward
b = damping ratio of the shock
x' = velocity of the [wheel upward]
k = spring constant
x = displacement of the [wheel upward]
translated, the thing will slide, as the wheels won't be on the ground. HELLLLLOOOO understeer!

thanx alot guys i will take all of this into consideration since its a lease i might just say fuck the shocks , my lease is up in 36 mo. i saw a pic in here the guy had comptech springs and 18x7.5 wheels and it looked really tight. to tell u te truth i got stock shocks on my max with h&r springs and the car has 50k on it.
