According to Motor Trend:
1st: 42 mph
2nd: 69 mph
3rd: 105 mph
4th: 147 mph
5th: 147 mph
The 4th and 5th gears are both capped at 147 mph due to the speed limiter

If you wanted to drive a manual, you should've bought a 6 spd!

You you can hit vtec immediately when gate shifting from 1st to 2nd right?
Do your research before you make rude comments.

Not everyone on this forum bought their car used. Those who bought their car back 2000-2001 didn't have the option for a 6spd. I know I didn't. It's not as if the dealership tells you that the 6spd is coming out in a couple years anyway.
On the serious side. I would say the best way to shift gears on your car would to not use the SS mode at all, But rather put the car in neutral, Rev your RPMs up to red line, Then shift it back into gear, And then if you really want to show then whats up shift your car into revese at 100mph, Then quickly shift it back to drive. And watch as the S2000 and 7 series BMW and any other car get left in your smoke
