Sport Edition FOX 5 & Blizzaks

If anyone is interested in seeing this combination, photos attached. The ride impression is (compared to stock wheels/tires:
1) A little "mushy", softer and not as firm on turns.
2) My tires sing at around 20 MPH.
3) At speed tires noise is less than stock tires.
new is 205/60-16 on 16X6 wheels.

MZ-02 also. the info seemed to indicate they were better (at least people liked them more) and only $2.00 more each. The "mushy" was a little unnerving as I put them on myself and it almost felt like I had a flat or bad tire (I guess I was tired). It also feels like the car doesn't hold a straight line like it did before? Awaiting snow to see what it is like then.

i was actually looking at the Fox 5s as replacement rims and they weren't that much less than stock so they are out I guess they are ok for the winter setup.

Come on…Be honest…Tell us how much they really SUCK in the dry !!!

gto2050 has the best analogy for this experience, it’s called:
“Dancing with floppy CLOWN shoes”.

The first time I drove with my “clown shoes” last year I actually drifted across the centerline of the road when I took a corner too fast.
Luckily no one was coming the other direction.

My snows are sitting on the wall shelf until I ABSOLUTELY need them bolted on the car.
They do work really well in the snow, as I’m sure you will soon experience.

The best thing about snow tires is that when you take them off in the springtime, it will feel like you just got performance Springs, Shocks & Tires installed.
