Spoiler

Love it or hate it? Personally, I think it throws off the lines of the car at the rear, but I am curious what you guys think

I have it and loved it until recently.

Recently I considered buying another trunk lid and swapping them. I figure that's probably cheaper and better than getting the spoiler removed and the holes filled. Plus I could resell the other trunk lid w/ attached spoiler to someone with an Aegean Blue CLS and they could swap theirs if they wanted one.

I figure it's too much work and I'll just be happy with what I have.

I'm neutral. If the CL is stock, the car looks better without the wing. If the CL has been lowered/19" wheels/flares/and other goodies, then the wing looks good.

That sounds like a lot of work. Why don't you just put that money towards the headers?

:P

Hey, the spoiler MAKES the car.

I think it looks like shit without it. Looks kinda cheap.

Love It

LOVE IT.

On the Aegean Blue it looks awesome. I think the car looks bland without one.

Though a lip spoiler might look interesting.

I feel just the opposite. Stock, I like it. Now that I'm lowering it and whatever else I do, I sorta wish I didn't get it.

TypeSKid: Well that's completely beside the point because we're discussing appearance options not aftermarket perormance mods. And as I don't really want Comptech headers for the price they sell them for, I have determined I will not buy Comptech's headers because they charge too much. I will wait for Greddy headers or just leave the stock ones on. I just spent $650 on coilovers so technically I could have put that money towards the headers too - except I don't care about Comptech headers.

Usually I'm against spoilers... I feel they "spoil" the look of the car.

That said, I think it's awesome on the CL. The bum is too rounded compared to the rest of the car. The spoiler's angles look way better - makes the round bum look sharper like a TL.

I've been searching for just that a sort of lip spoiler nothing too flashy, but something with style and something to compliment that shape of the car.

Let me know where I might find one!

i think it's either love it or hate it, personally i dislike the wing because it takes away from the sexy curves of the car.

The spoiler's not bad, I really perferred it on my 1st Gen.

However, I think the 2nd gen's lines look much better without. Its kinda like putting a fanny pack on Cindy Crawford....just doesn't need to be there !

Stock sux. I just wish the trunk wasn't so tilted...thats the only thing preventing me from getting an aftermarket spoiler.
