ok, so let's assume u get better performance out of the CAI if u take off the splash guard completely, the next problem is the CAI is too vulnerable to road damage, right? well, take some of the Home Depot mesh screen and use it to cover the space where the splash guard used to b...the plastic fasteners and 10mm bolt should b able to fasten one side securely...we just have to b creative for the other side maybe i'll try it this weekend.

 

Will you b cutting the plastic underneath??

 

prob drilling a couple holes to fit a couple nuts and bolts to fix the screen in place on that side, while the removable plastic fasteners and 10mm bolt hold the other side.
