Speedo read 150 and then all of a.....

sudden the damn governor stepped in and spoiled my fun. I posted a couple months ago on hitting 145 and then backing off. Well the top end on this car is about 150. I guess 150 is fast enough for now. God the CAI sounds great getting to 150.

Top Speed runs are usually a mile or little more...and then another miel to slow down..I thin we can hit top speed within 30 seconds...3/4 mile???

Dunno...seems right for me...

Figure I do the 1/4 in 14 secs...already in 3rd gear and pushing 97mph...1-2 more seconds and I'm at 110....the shitty part is waiting for the 122mph to come up and the VTEC to kick in again...I think we can almost hit the governor in 4th right!?!

i think it takes a little bit longer than that, u gotta realize that at 147(which is what the governer is set to for CLS/TLS) ur going faster than at 0-97mph(1/4m), and the faster u go, the slower the car accelerates, i'd say its safe to say it takes about a mile and a half to two miles to hit that, thats what my impression was when i did it a couple of times, but i wasnt looking at my odo

.. btw, road&track featured a viper that can hit 200mph within a mile... and that baby is pushing around 800hp and some 600lb/torque.
