Speeding Times...!
Everyone of us sometimes or most of the time speed beyond the speed limit.
However, although I have V1 (not very much used in hoping (5-10 min trips) around the town, I found that is extreemly stupid to Speed at certain times:
1) On Holidays, Specialy Suny ones.
2) On Week-Ends, specialy Sat night after 11:00 PM.
3) in light traffic, or when the road open up really well.
4) At Places where Speed limit is intentially lowered, 3+ lane road with speed limit of 35.
5) At night, between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
6) At stretch where you already spotted few patrols cars lurking.
7) in middle of the town, on main st.
Anyways, Racing on public roads is very bad idea.

Glad to hear about your epiphany.
Here in North Jersey....it's bad to speed ANYWHERE.
Bastards hide in the most obscene of places.

I usually don't speed in public roads at all, especially during traffic (what are those idiots thinking?). Just cruise and BUMP! Cruisin' in the luxury car...hehe. It's strange, ever since I got the CL, I actually go under the speed limit more often than over it. If a 'Vette or Supra wants to race, who cares??! We've got the fly luxury coupes
The only places I speed are on the freeway, usually after midnight, going about 100-110 when no other cars are around (except the BMW 328 )

Ronin,
You violated rule #3 and #5.
No wonder why cops attend psychology course.
They have ways to make their job easier.
Imagine a cop lurking at rush hour to catch some speeders. Or, at Sat Night at 1:30-2:30 AM waiting catch some drunk asshole leaving local bars and hiting the HW. Which one is easier?... no brainy, right ?
