Mine still has NGK's in it, but that only because they were still in good condition when I bought the car. If they are $28 each, then thats the last time they go in my engine.

I'll just buy some BOSCH plugs.

A sparkplug is a sparkplug is a sparkplug.

NGK is the way to go but $28 is too much. Those dealerships are crazy! I got mine for about $7 a piece. If you want i can put my discount into action and get you a set.

Not true. Different plugs wear out faster, burn hotter/colder. there are many differences. The original plugs are in there for a reason.......the engine was built to run on those plugs so why mess with something that is proven to work well together

I think that is only true if you were to use a really low quality plug. and even then i dont think you would notice the power loss if any. The plugs might not last as long though

There are 2 models you can use from NGK that will work on the CL. NGK irdiums are about 8 dollars but to get the OE plugs, the ones that will last you another 105k, you will need to get the NGK lazer iridium plugs and yes they will run you about 20 dollars. Dont buy them from the dealer but buy them from the internet or local autoparts store and it will the cheaper.

go to any local car parts store and have them give you the list that should pop up when they run the car into their system, theres also a Good, Better, Best choice.
