It's a 2001 Vette Z06

I traded in my CLS for it.
For those that doubted my miles here's the final proof:

Not to be a dick, but how many trannys did you go through (if any) on the CLS?

I actually agree with you, I was looking for a vert but this deal was too good to pass up. It was way below book. This thing retailed for 36-38K.

Yes
Thanks, I really enjoyed the CLS. I know how lucky I was with the tranny issue. The CLS was a great car. I never had a problem that wasn't taken care of by Harper Acura in Knoxville, TN. If you're ever there, tell Richard I said hy and ask him about his cool Maui Jim shades.

No, my job has changed and I won't be putting the miles on anymore. I wouldn't have bought this if that wasn't the case.

I think the extra hp comes from a variable intake (like the cls) or something (vario-ram??).
This page has some pretty good C5 info:

I think that the newer ZO6's have 406hp, and the old ones have 385hp...

Thanks for the props all.
I took it to Chattanooga today. 300 miles out and back. What a sweet ride. My wife saw if for the first time when i got home today. Thankfully, she fell for it too.

The 2001 Z06 is rated at 385 bhp, and the 2002+ Z06 is rated at 405. The principal difference is the air intake system. Otherwise, owners of either model year cars with aftermarket cold air intake systems dyno at about the same numbers.
Since you got a 2001, I hope you checked in the infamous ring problem, i.e. whether it has been fixed, first. Basically there are a lot of 2001s that eat oil like nobody's business.
Now all you need is a CAGS eliminator and you'll be set! As you can see from my sig, I had a Z06 before my CLS, and would have gotten another one if I didn't live in an apartment complex and didn't worry about my car all the time. You can PM me if you have any other questions.

This baby stays in the garage while at home. I can understand you living in fear parking something like this in an apt. complex.
