sooo.. bolts stripped. suggestons?

so i tried to take off my stock axlebacks and put on a set of comptech axlebakcs... and they were rusted to hell and so we tried hand tools and couldnt budge.. we sprayed PB cutt4er and liqued wrench, and tried tapping it with a hammer.. didnt work.. so we pull out the airgun and us it..

it budges then spins and strips the hell outf of the bolt...

what is a good fix for this without taking to the shop or welding?

i was thinking cutting off the nut head and drilling through the flange.

u guys got any suggestions?

Should be able to cut it off with a cutoff wheel, die grinder, dremal, or even a sawzall. If you bring it to an exhaust shop they will cut the bolt off with a torch in 2 minutes. Then install the CT's in about the same time. Might be worth a trip & an hour cost in labor.

Cut off the nut. Once you do that it should come right off. The stock setup has studs built onto the muffler. The nuts bolt to the studs. There are no bolts.
