Something wrong w/ my suspension. What should I check?

When I'm going over little bumps or going up my very steep driveway, the front driver-side feels like it's loose...almost wobbling around. It makes a little clunking noise like it drops down a bit.

What should I check? I'm in Boston right now, but I want to get an idea of what I need to do once I get home. Thanks boys.

I've never heard of worn shocks making noise. I'm dropped w/ H&R Sports and Koni Yellows

Make sure the strut assembly is tightly secured at the top and the bottom. Check the tie rods, as a damaged one could very well cause the wobbly feeling.

It's hard to diagnose online without looking at it, but the best way to check it out is to just get under there and make sure everything is tightened.

I have a 03 with 20000 km. My dealer replaced the lower ball joints about a week ago. I had a similar "clunking" noise. The service advisor told me this is common.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will try to fix this myself then bring it to the dealer if I can't figure it out.

Just got home 15 minutes ago, but I'm feeling a bit lazy about working on the car right now. Maybe later this week.

I just came back from a spin in the car. The suspension makes a clunk noise every time I turn the wheel a quarter of a turn quickly to the left.

Anyone else have insight on this??
