I got a TL non Type S (either 02 or 03) loaner car the other, and was cruising on highway back home. I noticed that the tach was lingering way below 2K RPM, like 1500~1600 RPM, at 60MPH. As oppose my CLS, which is always around 1800~1900 RPM at 60MPH. Werid, does non-Type S has higher gear?

Also another thing, that TL's SportShift felt so much faster when shift, no delay felt as all.

hmmm.. maybe I am being paranoid, or maybe my CLS is a slow one.

 

Maybe the TL-S had a brand new tranny.
