Looks like a cool mod to add to the existing alarm. I'd give it a shot. Worst thing that happens is you just atke it out and put some electrical tape over the exposed wires.

It should attach right on. My friend did it to his stock alarm on his Integ. Just go and buy a DEI shock sensor and find the stock alarm and splice it in.

is anybody interested in doing this? looking at the instructions and my car, the harness in front of the fuse box (facing the front of the car) is the single one, and on the left of the harness (the left side of the fuse box) are the +/-8 harness, and the fuses are to the right of those 8 harness. .right?

Remind me again why exactly you'd WANT a shock sensor? That just means false alarms around pumping bass.

cuz right now the stock "alarm" sucks as it is...i dont think it'll go off if you break open a window, will it? only when the doors are opened will the alarm go off...

Exactly, the alarm is not triggered untill someone pull up the lock. I've seen guys going around and tap on cars to see if they are armed. I dont know what they did but IMO, they were doing a little "windows shopping" ... so heck ya, my next project would be the shock sensor.

Don't they have a product already called Auto-Taeser or something like that?? I could've sworn I've see that before somewhere...
